Starting point for glacier routes on “les Ailefroides” or “le Col du Sélé”, this refuge is also a magnificent panoramic view point for hikers.
Attention :
The final climb to reach the refuge is a secured rocky ridge, more impressive than dangerous but some rocks may fall...

others, it’s a high mountain refuge by excellence.
If you’re not a mountaineer but a very good walker, you can walk up to the refuge and return to the valley in the day.
